Charie Rose - Philippines

Charlie Rose’s parents are glad that assistance from a caring sponsor will make it possible for her to experience a better life. Kind and well-behaved, Charie Rose is a joy to be around and loved by all.

Chielo - Philippines

Chielo’s adoptive aunt and uncle struggled to provide basic necessities before a sponsor began meeting her needs. Now her elders often comment on her optimism and confidence.

Christian - Philippines

Christian’s family is surrounded by poverty, but World Help's Child Sponsorship Program is bringing joy into this child’s life. He loves to draw, dance, and sing.  His favorite song is “Shout to the Lord.”

Gideon - Uganda

Gideon was a child displaced by war. Both his parents live in Internally Displaced People (IDP) camps with nothing to call their own. Through sponsorship, he now lives at Destiny, where he is outgoing and healthy.

Jade - Philippines

Jade struggled to have his daily needs met before an American sponsor began caring for him. His favorite worship song is “I Cast All My Cares,” which helps him to remember that God is in control.

Jeanie - Uganda


With no dependable family income, Jeanie was living in constant poverty until she was supported through World Help. Now she is naturally sociable and jolly. She dreams of becoming a church leader.

Jhunrey - Phillipines


Jhunrey lived in abject poverty with his mother and younger brother until World Help's sponsorship program brought him hope and provision.  Jhunrey’s teachers often comment on his focus in class and obedience.

Keith - Uganda

Keith had never experienced a day free from poverty before he came to Destiny Children’s Home. Friendly and sociable, he loves to play soccer with his friends and attends church faithfully.

Lakpi - Nepal

Lakpi’s father abandoned the family when she was young and has since passed away. Lakpi’s mother was left alone to support three children on a small salary that barely fed them until sponsorship program started providing for her. Lakpi is a good student, one day, hopes to be a teacher.

Mariam - Uganda


When Mariam was a young child, her father passed away slowly from illness. Now World Help is giving Mariam a chance to dream. Someday she wants to work in the medical field.

Rachana - Nepal


Rachana’s father worked hard as a poultry farmer to provide for her, but his efforts often failed to make ends meet. Through sponsorship, Rachana is being sell cared for at Grace Children’s Home.

Regin - Philippines

Regin’s friends and family call her Gin-Gin. After school, she helps her parents at home by looking after her younger siblings.  Because fo a caring sponsor, Gin-Gin will not have to worry about basic necessities.

Sharon - Philippines


Sharon’s father passed away when she was just two years old. Sharon once lacked nutritious food and clean water, but now she is at Destiny Children’s Home, where she is loved, cared for, and nourished.

Winnie - Uganda

Winnie knows no strangers and loves to make friends wherever she goes. Though she lived her entire childhood in poverty, she now feels secure and loves going to school.

Yam - Nepal


Bright and attentive, Yam’s teachers often praise him for his discipline and enthusiasm in school. Through the efforts of Grace Children’s Home, Yam now has the hope to dream of becoming a doctor.
