Over 2,000 years ago, God’s gift to the world was Christmas.  God’s love for us was so great  He chose to give us the ultimate gift, His Son, Jesus Christ.
 
Over the centuries, we have made much of Christmas.  Decorations, parties, gifts, shopping, the works; we have done everything we can to make Christmas special for our loved ones and friends.
 
All these things are good, but, put in the perspective of what God gave us, they can’t compare.  Jesus was a gift that would affect every human being for all of eternity.
 
God sent Christ to this world to make a difference . . . to do something that offered lasting hope, joy, and peace.  This year, although none of us have the power to affect every human being, we do have the ability to impact some.
