Over 2,000 years ago, God’s gift to the world was Christmas. God’s love for us was so great He chose to give us the ultimate gift, His Son, Jesus Christ.
Over the centuries, we have made much of Christmas. Decorations, parties, gifts, shopping, the works; we have done everything we can to make Christmas special for our loved ones and friends.
All these things are good, but, put in the perspective of what God gave us, they can’t compare. Jesus was a gift that would affect every human being for all of eternity.
God sent Christ to this world to make a difference . . . to do something that offered lasting hope, joy, and peace. This year, although none of us have the power to affect every human being, we do have the ability to impact some.
There is no better way to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas than to give Gifts of Hope that will help meet the needs of the suffering and take the Gospel to those who have never heard.
You can also give Gifts of Hope to family members or friends this Christmas by sending a special e-card that explains you have made a donation in their name to help someone less fortunate. For the person who has everything, what better gift than one that will change a life?
Please consider a special gift today that will have an impact for years to come. Give the gift of hope.
