More than 30,000 children, under the age of five, have perished in the last 90 days in southern Somalia alone.
Twelve million Somalis, Kenyans, and Ethiopians are starving due to the worst drought since the 1950s.
World Help is committed to responding strategically to the Horn of Africa crisis by providing shipments of humanitarian aid to Kenya, where hundreds of thousands of Somali refugees are currently seeking sanctuary.
We need your help specifically to send shipments containing $12.5 million of medicine to the refugee camps lining the Somali-Kenyan border, including the largest refugee camp in the world—Dadaab.
In just a few short weeks, donors like you have funded the shipping of twenty containers of food supplies to Somali refugees, providing nearly 5 million life-saving meals. Each 40-foot container—food and medicine—costs approximately $6,000 to ship.
Although the need is extensive and overwhelming, we believe that saving the lives of even a few will be worth every dollar and every prayer. By providing for physical needs, we are showing Christ’s love in a truly effective way.World Help is dedicated to sending as many shipments of food and medicine as can be funded through the generosity of our donors.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support for the people of Somalia and East Africa.
