Operation Child Rescue is reaching out to provide Guatemalan children with the help they need. Our strategy is to provide sick and dying children with basic medicine, food, and other supplies that might possibly save their life. If the need is severe and the child is able to be moved, rescuers take the child back to the rescue center to treat for severe malnutrition.
Parents who know about the center are also encouraged to bring their children in for treatment. Every day, the center’s staff feeds nutritious food and provides what little medicine they have to sick children, hoping and praying they can save these precious lives. Occasionally, even surgery is required.
We are committed to protecting the lives of “the least of these.” Please consider joining us in this effort to save lives threatened by simple malnutrition and easily preventable diseases.
It costs an average of $250 to rescue and save the life of a single child.
