We are committed to a proven effective strategy to provide help and hope for children whose extended families simply cannot care for them by establishing "Villages of Hope" throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Each Village of Hope will care for as many as 48 orphaned children in four small, family-like Homes of Hope.

A Home of Hope is a facility housing up to 12 children. While the dimensions and look of each building is dependent on regional cultural norms and expectations, what is consistent with every home is that it is headed by Christ followers: widows or young couples who are committed to caring for orphans. You can provide one of these homes for $25,000.

A Village of Hope will care for as many as 48 orphaned children. Each village will be built to fit into the regional culture. Some villages will consist of four Homes of Hope. Others may utilize dormitory buildings or other arrangements unique and appropriate to the area. These homes will provide a safe place for children to live and grow.

The Villages of Hope will not be “compounds” that remove children from their culture and community. Located in or near existing villages, they will utilize local schools and medical clinic facilities to provide education and healthcare for the children. Many of the older children will also receive vocational skills and training. The Village of Hope will be tightly integrated with its local neighbors, helping not only the 48 children in the homes but also many others in the greater community. You can provide a Village of Hope for $100,000.

Our vision is to see hundreds of villages and homes, caring for thousands of children whose lives have been turned upside-down by HIV/AIDS!
