Travel Coordinator
World Help is seeking a full-time Travel Coordinator who, under the supervision of the Director of International Programs, will assist with the details, planning, and administration of international trips.
Specific Duties: Responsible for assisting in communications with staff, donors, travel agents and World Help partners related to international travel arrangements, assisting in securing the paper work and all accommodations necessary to travel internationally, coordination project details and communication with World Help partners regarding these projects and reporting project details to donors as necessary.
Personal Characteristics: Goal and detail oriented; self-starter; highly motivated; high energy; strong work ethic; good relational skills; teamwork attitude; good organizational and problem solving skills.
Qualifications: Previous office experience necessary. Efficiency in all MS Office computer programs required. Experience in making travel arrangements preferred.
Scheduling Coordinator
The Scheduling Coordinator works with the Lead Generator to schedule the Children of the World Choir in churches and schools throughout the U.S. This position is entry level and reports to the Scheduling Team Leader.
Specific Duties: Responsible for scheduling the Children of the World Choir in churches and Christian schools by following up on contacts made by the Lead Generator. The Coordinator is accountable for keeping accurate records of calls, concerts, and potential concerts. Goals will be set and incentives are offered. No travel required.
Qualifications: Sales/customer service experience required, good communication skills and phone experience preferred; ability to multitask and work as a team. Candidate should have computer experience and be familiar with Microsoft Office. Database experience preferred. Goal oriented; self-starter; highly motivated; high energy; strong work ethic.
Webmaster - Developer
Summary
World Help is searching for an outstanding webmaster/developer to be responsible for creating and maintaining innovative, reusable Web-based tools for progressive online activism and community building. Our webmaster works closely with our Communications department and design team to develop specifications and make recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies. Programming and intermediate graphic designing skills are elements of this position.
Qualifications
- BS in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3 years minimum experience with HTML/XHTML and CSS
- 2 years minimum Web programming experience, including ASP or JSP
- An understanding of relational database systems such as MySQL or MSSQL and a good working knowledge of SQL
- Intermediate skill in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash.
- Development experience using extensible web authoring tools
- Self-starter with strong self-management skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
