Please help the survivors of the Chile earthquake

Following the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the second largest city in Chile, the government is now reporting that at least 795 people died and more than 2 million have been affected.

Nine of the major hospitals are currently unable to function, and many highways are not passable due to damage. There are food shortages, and many lack electricity and water.

Over 1.5 million homes have been damaged, and 500,000 are homeless in the city of Concepcion alone.  Several coastal towns received heavy damage from waves that advanced inland up to 3 kilometers and some have been completely destroyed.

Many are injured and in need of immediate medical care.

World Help is sending containers of food, water, aid, and medical supplies to assist the people of Chile.  But we cannot do this without you.

Your gift can help ship and distribute these much-needed supplies. No gift is too small and every gift will make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Please join us, and please pray for the people of Chile as they begin to rebuild and recover.
